Nóvé Soma és Ifj. Csoóri Sándor
Nóvé Soma & Ifj. Csoóri Sándor is a duo bringing intimate, minimalist reinterpretations rooted in folk traditions and personal storytelling. Soma has been active in several bands since 2012 (Middlemist Red, MORDÁI, The Night Of The Vampire, Samurai Drive), while Sündi is known as co-leader of Buda Folk Band and Ötödik Évszak, as well as a sought-after composer for dance theatre productions.
Their first full-length album together, Rumnapló, was released in November 2025, blending folk influences with personal experiences and literary inspiration. The recordings were made spontaneously, in the presence of friends, capturing the raw energy of playing together and the fleeting moods of life — touching on themes of transience, renewal and freedom. Rumnapló was awarded “Hungarian World Music or Folk Album of the Year” at the Fonogram – Hungarian Music Awards.
