Chalaban
Chalaban is a spiritual musical experiment in constant change. New songs, new instrumentation, new musicians. The band was founded by Moroccan-born musician Said Tichiti, and since its inception they have always adhered to the principle of renewal, believing that there are no clear boundaries in Moroccan music. Chalaban is the only orchestra in Hungary that plays Moroccan (Afro-Arabic) music, their music is a harmonious fusion of Moroccan and Western melodies and instruments. Their success has lasted for six years and has crossed Hungarian borders. They have given concerts in Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria.
